Geneva Wine Society asked us to update their website, in order to become more user-friendly for the visitors but also for the administrator while updating products and posts on the back-end.
After the first meetings and checkups, we quickly saw that the website had great potential and a lot of interesting content. However, a full overhaul of the back-end was needed, where all items and products would be connected in the newly designed relational database.
We deleted all elements that were slowing down the site performance and added a more structured and interactive layout including a full-screen video homepage.
The pages of the website have acquired a clean minimal style that has allowed for a quicker load-time and improved the user experience for mobile users. All posts, products and pages perform much better now for SEO, making sure organic traffic to the website is much higher.
Additionally, to make management of the website and shop consistent and easy for the owner, we have created detailed training videos for even more complex content management tasks.
