Since we make the majority of our websites on the WordPress platform, we were very pleased to see that the 2023 edition of WordCamp Europe was being held in Athens.
WordCamps are large conferences where developers like us can meet with colleagues as well as WordPress contributors, software developers, designers, and many more.

This year I also had the pleasure to work with the Wordcamp team as a volunteer which was a very impressive experience. A real team effort to host such an amazing event at Megaro Musikis in Athens.

Next to volunteering, there was of course also much to learn from the seminars and meeting the people behind the software that we regularly use such as Google, WooCommerce, WPML, and many more. We gained a lot of new insight into market trends and subjects such as:

• Attracting more visitors to your website: smart use of Social Media & SEO
• E-commerce best practices
• Artificial Intelligence
• Storytelling vs Cold Data
• Multi-Language websites
